Description
Old End Tuesday Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has been divided and enlarged in the mid-20th century. It features roughcast, possibly over cob, with thatched roofs that continue as a catslide roof over a garage addition at the left end. The building has stone stacks at the gable ends and one in the center left. The plan consists of three cells with an addition that includes a garage on the left. The main block is two storeys high, with an independently roofed lower two-storey block to the left, and it has a layout of 1:3 bays. The right side has early 19th-century leaded iron casements, while the left side has 20th-century windows. There is a gabled porch with a slate roof, and 20th-century doors located in the second bay on the right and the end bay on the left of the main block. Although the interior was not viewed, it is reported to contain a jointed cruck truss roof.
