Description

A pair of semi-detached cottages located on Bridge Street in Williton, dating from the late 17th to early 18th century, with later 20th-century alterations. The cottages are constructed of random rubble, with the right-hand three bays roughcast. They have a thatched roof and retain external stone stacks at the gable ends, with remains of coped verges on the right. The plan is a 2-cell layout with a cross passage. The cottages are two storeys high and have a 2:3 bay arrangement. The right-hand side features early 19th-century 3-light leaded casements, altered in the 20th century, a central plank door, and left-hand 2- and 3-light 19th-century leaded iron casements. Only the first-floor window on the right has been altered. A half-glazed door is centrally located. The interior was not inspected.
