Description

This is a large, mid-19th century villa set back from the road. It is two storeys high with attics, and features paired gables that project forward in the centre of the front elevation. The exterior is roughcast with ashlar dressings, and the roof is slate-covered. The parapets are supported by corbels on either side of the house. Carved stone fleur-de-lis adorn the gables. There are single lancet windows in the attics, and three-light casement windows with rectangular dripmoulds on the first floor. Two large canted bays with corbelled parapets are present on the ground floor. The entrances are located in the side elevations. The listed buildings of Haines Hill are considered to form a group.
