Description

Sherford Lodge is a mid-19th century house located set back on the corner of Haines Hill and Middleway. It is two stories high with an attic contained within a central tower that rises through the roof. The exterior is roughcast with corner pilasters. It has hipped slate roofs and projecting eaves supported by brackets. The front has three windows with architrave surrounds; two-light casements are on the first floor, and a three-light casement is on the ground floor to the right. A solid porch with a round-headed doorway is present. A lean-to extension is attached to the right of the front. The listed buildings in Haines Hill are considered as a group.
