Description
This barn, located directly to the west of Manor Farmhouse, dates from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond red brick and features a double-Roman tile roof with a coped verge and a finial facing the road. The barn is positioned at right angles to the road and is a single storey with an attic. It has irregular openings that include wooden lintels, some of which have been restored using iron and concrete, as well as some plank doors. There are paired carriage openings with a central lias pillar, and a hay-loft opening is present in the gable face of the road frontage. The barn is included primarily for its group value with Manor Farmhouse.
