Description

This is a barn located to the east of Manor Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with flush rusticated dressed stone quoins and stone dressings around the ventilation slits. The barn features wooden lintels and a gabled roof covered with double Roman tiles. It has a long range and an attached hayloft at the north end. The west front has two cart entrances with corrugated iron gates; the northern entrance has an arched lintel. There are also blocked doors leading to the hayloft. Inside, the barn has a butt-purlin, collar, and tie-beam roof structure, with some timbers having been renewed.
