Description

Stawell House is a house from the early 19th century, although its core may be older. The exterior is rendered and colorwashed, featuring coped verges and a double-Roman tile roof with a crested ridge and brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and has four bays, with sash windows that include glazing bars. The entrance is located in the second bay and consists of a six-panelled door, with the top two panels being glazed. Above the door is a fanlight with glazing bars, and it is sheltered by a gabled hood supported by circular wooden brackets.
