Description
Ford Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed and squared lias stone with hipped roofs covered in fishscale and plain tiles, along with brick chimneys. The building has a symmetrical front with two storeys and three bays. It features paired 12-pane sash windows set in cambered-headed reveals, with a central dividing mullion, and a single 12-pane window located in the centre of the first floor. The windows are adorned with keystones, and there is a band at the first floor level along with rusticated quoins. The central door opening is framed by a rusticated architrave with a triple keystone and a ledge hood supported by consoles, leading to a half-glazed door.
