Description

The Bedale Garage Ltd is a building located on the west side of Bedale Market Place. It dates from the early to mid-18th century and was originally a house with a shop, now functioning as a garage. The structure is made of red brick laid in Flemish bond and features a machine-tile roof. It stands three storeys high and has five bays. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front, while the first floor displays sash windows with glazing bars. Above these are 6-pane sashes, all featuring flat brick arches and stone cills. The building is adorned with dentilled eaves and stone coping, and it has end stacks.
