Description
This building, known as the house adjoining the rear of Bedale Hall on the south side, is now used as offices. It dates from the early to mid 18th century and is constructed of red brick in stretcher bond with a machine tile roof. The structure has two storeys and four bays.
On the ground floor, there is a brick basket-arched carriageway to the left. The windows feature sashes with glazing bars and stone cills in the first and fourth bays, while the second and third bays have unequally-hung 9-pane sashes, all topped with flat brick arches. The eaves are stepped and dentilled, with stone coping on the left side, and the roof is hipped to the right. There are end stacks present.
