Description
Nos 7 and 9 North End is a house, likely dating from the late 16th century, now divided into two separate occupancies. It is built from rubblestone and has a machine pantile roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The central bay features a half-glazed door with a modern porch, while to the right there is an opening leading to a passageway and a 20th-century glazed door with a bow window. All the windows are 20th-century casements. The house has end stacks and at the rear, there is a tall gabled stair tower with two wood-mullioned windows. Inside, there is a large central fireplace and chimney breast, along with two raised crucks, one of which has a braced collar.
