Description

This is a mile-post located approximately 500 metres north of Salutation Farmhouse, dating from the late 19th century. It is made of cast iron and features a triangular section pillar that stands about 1 metre high. The top of the pillar slopes and is inscribed with "London 227". The left face has the inscription "Darlington 10", while the right face reads "No' Allerton 6".
