Description

This is a milepost located approximately 20 metres north of Mile Bank Farm, dating from the late 19th century. It is made of cast iron and features a triangular section pillar that stands about half a metre high. The top of the pillar slopes downwards and is inscribed with "London 226". The left side of the pillar has the inscription "Darlington 11", while the right side reads "NoAllerton 5".
