Description

Birkby Manor is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and is arranged in three bays. A central porch, added in the late 19th century, is made of brick and includes a six-panel door, an overlight, and a doorcase with pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. The windows are sash style, equipped with glazing bars, stone sills, and flat brick arches. The roof is hipped and has two ridge stacks.
