HUNGATE 1. 5340 (South Side) No 4 SE 7983 2/240 II GV 2. Early-mid C19, later C19 features. 2 storeys in stone with pantile roof. 2 windows of 4 lights, mullion and transom, 1 breaks eaves. Ground floor has 1 4-light mullion and transom window with stone lintel, as to modern door. Included as part of a group.

Forest Vale Hotel and Wall form a group with Nos 1 to 7 (consec), 9 to 15 (consec), 17 to 22 (consec), 24 to 26 (consec), No 26A and No 27 of which Nos 7, 9, 10, 22 and 24 are of local interest.
