Description
No 43 Crown Street is a mid-to-late 19th-century stone building of three storeys plus an attic, set beneath a slated roof. The building features a shop front framed by modelled columns. Above the shop, three windows are set into an arcade with decorated tympana. The second floor is characterised by mullioned and transomed windows. A stone dormer breaks the modelled parapet. The building is included on the list for its group value, forming a group with Nos 4 to 10 (even) Central Street and Nos 2 to 16 (even) Silver Street.
