SILVER STREET 1. 1164 (North Side) No 2 SE 0925 SW 14/239 II GV 2. Mid/later C19. Distinguished stone building on tapered corner site. C13 Gothic style, 3 storeys plus another in slated roof. Arcaded ground storey. Paired arched windows above. Gables with minature turrets, stone dormers and pierced parapet to steep modelled roof, Chimney stacks. 4 windows plus 3 to Waterhouse Street and 7 to return in Crown Street. 2 entrances.

Nos 2 to 16 (even) form an island group with Nos 4 to 10 (even) Central Street and Nos 43 to 55 (odd) Crown Street.
