No. 2 Silver Street is a distinguished stone building from the mid to late 19th century, located on a tapered corner site. Designed in the 13th-century Gothic style, it stands three storeys tall, with an additional storey in the slated roof. The ground storey features an arcade, while the upper levels have paired arched windows. The building is adorned with gables that include miniature turrets, stone dormers, and a pierced parapet on the steeply modelled roof, which also has chimney stacks. There are four windows facing Silver Street, three on Waterhouse Street, and seven on the return to Crown Street, along with two entrances.
