Description
No 10 Central Street is a mid to late 19th-century stone corner building designed in a mixed architectural style. It stands three storeys tall, plus an additional storey within a slated roof. The ground floor features piers and an entablature, which are now painted, and includes modern shop fronts. The upper windows are arranged in groups of three, with one window on the canted corner. The first floor has round arches, and there is carved and incised decoration present. Round-topped dormers break the panelled parapet. This building is included for its group value with Nos 4 to 10 (even) and Nos 43 to 55 (odd) Crown Street.
