Description
49 and 51 Crown Street is a pair of mid to late 19th-century stone buildings designed in a mixed architectural style. The structure stands three storeys tall, with an additional storey in a slated roof. The ground floor features piers and an entablature, currently housing modern shops. Each of the upper floors has a group of three windows, and there are stone dormers that break the panelled parapet. These buildings are similar in style to Nos 49 and 56 Crown Street and are included for their group value. They form a group with Nos 43 to 55 (odd) and Nos 4 to 10 (even) Central Street, as well as Nos 2 to 16 (even) Silver Street.
