The wall to the Forest and Vale Hotel, which fronts Malton Road, is a high curved structure made of coursed stone, likely dating from the early 19th century. It forms a group with the Forest and Vale Hotel. This wall, along with the hotel, is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 7 (consecutive), 9 to 15 (consecutive), 17 to 22 (consecutive), 24 to 26 (consecutive), No 26A, and No 27, with Nos 7, 9, 10, 22, and 24 noted for their local interest.
