Description
The wall at the entrance to No 1 (Stone Court) is an early 19th-century structure made of red brick. It is angled towards the entrance on the western side and runs along the west side of the drive, standing 6 feet high with buttresses. This wall blocks the view of modern development beyond it.
No 1 and its entrance wall, along with Nos 105 and 107 Salisbury Road, the United Reform Church and Manse, Nos 125 and 131, Nos 110 to 118 (even), the cart shed at Burton Green Farm, Dairy Cottage, St Luke's Parish Church, and The Sycamores, form a group surrounding Burton Green. No 1 Footners Lane; Nos 116, 118, 125, and 131 Salisbury Road, and the cart shed at Burton Green Farm are considered buildings of local interest.
