Description

The wall between Nos 2 and 3 on Cowbit Road is a Grade II listed structure. It features an inserted doorway made of red brick, which is believed to have originated from either the Priory or Ayscoughfee Hall. The doorway includes part of a moulded string and an archway with three orders, the innermost of which has moulded ornamentation. The door itself is modern, as is the entryway. This wall, along with Nos 2 to 5 (consecutive) and No 7, forms a group of buildings, with No 2 being of local interest.
