Description

Langton House is an early gabled house with a front elevation dating from the early 19th century. It stands three storeys tall and features a moulded stone capping to the blocking course. The building is constructed of brick and has a three-window bay along with one additional window. The windows have stucco lintels with keystones and are hung sashes with glazing bars. There is a side entrance that boasts a well-crafted wooden doorcase with an open pediment, leading to a plain door with panelled ingoes. Langton House is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 5 (consecutive), 7, and a wall between Nos 2 and 3, with No 2 being noted for local interest.
