Description
The outbuildings north of Westbourne Lodge, located on Cowbit Road, date from the late 18th century and later. They are constructed of brick and feature a Welsh slate roof, standing at two to three storeys high. The outbuilding facing Tower Road has one three-light window above a small segmental window on Cowbit Road. The Tower Road side has two storeys with blocked basement openings and is heavily covered in ivy. The upper storey includes five casement windows with three lights each and two hoist doors above the same number of segmental-headed windows and a door. The eastern outbuilding is two storeys tall with a steep hipped Welsh slate roof, featuring one segmental arched window and a hoist door on the Tower Street elevation. The east elevation has two segmental-headed windows above a large carriage entry, which is topped by a large modern hood. Other smaller attached buildings from a similar period have less distinctive and modern features. The outbuildings, along with Westbourne Lodge and the other outbuildings to the south and north, form a cohesive group.
