Description
The Horse Shoe Public House is an early 19th-century building located on the north side of Hall Garth. It stands three storeys tall, constructed of painted brick with a Welsh slate roof. The building features stone rusticated quoins and bands between the storeys. There are three windows with lintels, which are hung sashes with glazing bars. The centre window on the ground floor is a canted bay with four lights and a panelled base. On the ground floor, there are two additional windows and a door with six fielded panels, topped by a rectangular fanlight and lintel. To the right, there is a segmental-headed carriage entry made of rough stone, and the building has a stone plinth. The Horse Shoe Public House is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 3, Nos 5 to 13 Ivyleigh, No 15, and Nos 16 to 22, with Nos 1 to 3 and Nos 5 and 6 being of local interest.
