Description
7 Hall Garth is a building from the 18th century or early 19th century, standing three storeys tall and constructed of coursed stone with a Welsh slate roof. It features a moulded cornice and a blocked cornice, along with two brick chimney stacks. The building has three windows; the outer ones have lintels and are hung sashes with glazing bars, while the centre window is double-recessed and round-arched with glazing bars. The central section, which is slightly projected, has pilasters and a blocking course that includes a plaque and finials. The ground floor has modern and late 19th-century shop windows, along with a round-arched doorway that contains a door with four fielded panels and a radiating fanlight, requiring a step up to enter. The ground floor is finished in channelled rustication. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 3, The Horse Shoe Public House, Nos 5 to 13, Ivyleigh, and Nos 15, 16 to 22, with Nos 1 to 3 and Nos 5 and 6 recognized as buildings of local interest.
