NUMBER 29-30

Number 29-30 is a pair of cottages that have been converted into a single house. They likely date from the late 17th century or early 18th century and were renovated around 1800, with further remodeling and extension in 1985. The building features squared limestone on a renewed brick-faced plinth, a brick eaves course, and a concrete pantile roof with brick stacks, one of which has been rebuilt. It is two stories tall with a three-window front. There is a 20th-century door to the right of center and a board door at the left end. The windows are 2-light, 16-pane horizontal sliding sashes with painted stone sills throughout, and all ground-floor openings have painted timber lintels. There are stacks at both ends and one in the center left. Inside, 18th-century plank doors have been reused throughout the ground floor. The rear extension is not considered of special interest.
