Description
1 and 3 Park Road is a pair of cottages that were formerly a single house. They date back to the 17th century and were remodeled in the mid-19th century. The cottages are built from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and have a pantile roof featuring raised stone coped gables, along with a single gable and two ridge red brick stacks. The building is two stories high with an irregular five-bay front. The entrance is an off-centre half-glazed door, which is flanked by a single three-light casement window, followed by three additional similar windows. On the first floor, there are three two-light windows and one single three-light window set into the eaves. All openings are adorned with chamfered timber lintels and mullions. The left end bay is an addition, while there is a blocked doorway on the right.
