Description
Number 36 and the attached outbuilding are a house and outbuilding dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The structure is built of squared limestone and features a brick eaves course, topped with a pantile roof that includes one rebuilt brick stack. The house has a central-entry plan, is one room deep, and includes an outshut. It is two stories tall and has a two-window front, with a single-storey outbuilding to the left. The house features a door with a divided overlight, and the windows are replacements from the 20th century, with large panes on the ground floor to the left and small panes to the right. The first floor has three-light, small-pane horizontal sliding sashes. All windows have painted stone sills and thin painted timber lintels above the openings. At the rear, there is a single storey with a catslide roof and end stacks.
