Pair of cottages. c1800 with later extensions; C20 remodelling and further extensions. Squared limestone with brick eaves course, pantile roof with brick stacks, one rebuilt. Originally central-entry plan, 1 1/2 rooms deep; C20 rear extensions. 2-storey, 4-window front, flanked by single-storey lean-to outbuildings. Irregular quoins. Centre left 4-panel door to no 23, and centre right C20 board door to no 24. No 23 has renewed 2-light, 24- pane casements; no 24 has 2-light, 24-pane horizontal sliding sashes. Painted stone sills to all windows and painted wedge lintels to ground-floor openings. End and centre stacks. C20 extension to rear not of special interest. No 23 unoccupied at time of resurvey.
