Pair of cottages. c1800 with C20 alteration and extension. Squared limestone with brick eaves course; brick outbuilding to no 47; pantile roof with brick stacks, one rebuilt. 2-storey, 4-window front. No 46 to left has central door with 2-light casements, small-pane to ground floor and large-pane to first floor. No 47 has central 4-panel door flanked by 2- light, small-pane casements; 2-light, 24-pane horizontal sliding sashes to first floor. Painted stone sills to all windows. Painted wedge lintels to all ground-floor openings, and painted timber lintels to first-floor windows. Rear: single-storey lean-to outbuildings to both cottages. End and centre stacks. No 46 included for group value.
