Milestone. Late C19. Manufactured by F Mattison & Co of Bedale. Cast- iron. Triangular on plan with sloping upper face. Left face: 'Malton 15 miles' with pointing hand above. Right face: 'Helmsley 1 mile' with pointing hand above. Manufacturer's name to rear.
