SE 68 SW SPROXTON A170 (west side) Duncombe Park Estate 6/125 Nelson Gate Lodge - GV II

Lodge to Duncombe Park (qv Helmsley). Mid C19. Hammered coursed sandstone, Westmorland slate roof, and stone stacks. Square in plan with outshut to rear. 1 storey. 4-panel door with divided oblong fanlight. 2-light casement with lead lattice to right. Flat hoodmoulds with end-stops. Hipped roof. Pair of diamond-set stacks. Included for group considerations.
