Description
Sproxton Hall is a house with two distinct sections, built in the late 18th century and mid 19th century, with some 20th-century alterations. The building features coursed sandstone and limestone rubble, topped with a roof made of pantiles and Welsh slate. The left section, dating from the 18th century, has a direct-entry two-cell plan and is two storeys high, with two first-floor windows. It includes two 20th-century casements and a blocked doorway to the right. The first floor also has 20th-century casements, and the roof has a swept design with gable coping and end stacks. The right section, built in the 19th century, is also two storeys high with two first-floor windows. It features a 20th-century half-glazed doorway to the left and a casement to the right, along with 20th-century casements on the first floor. This section also has gable coping and an end stack on the right.
