Milestone. Late C19. Manufactured by F Mattison & Co of Bedale. Cast- iron. Triangular on plan with sloping upper face. Left face: 'Thirsk 12'. Right face: 'Helmsley 2'. Sloping upper section: 'NRYCC'. Manufacturer's name to rear.
