Description

This is an 18th-century house located on Front Street in Sowerby. Originally listed under Main Street, it is constructed of brick, now rendered and colour-washed, with a pantile roof. The house is three storeys high and has two bays. The ground floor features two 19th-century canted bays. The main entrance is through a panelled door within a small recessed wing to the south. The second floor has unequally-hung sashes, while the remaining windows are 16-pane sashes set in flush cases with plain cills.
