Description

This is a house located at 33 Front Street in Sowerby, built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from pinkish-brown brick, featuring reddish-brown quoins and bands at the floor levels. The building has a wooden cornice with dentils along the eaves and a double-gabled slate roof with raised stone verges and large kneelers, as well as end chimneys. The house has three storeys and three bays. A central porch in the Roman Doric style is present, along with two late 19th-century canted bay windows on the ground floor.
