Description
This house, now divided into flats, was originally built in the 18th century and extended in the early 19th century. It is constructed of pinkish-brown brick, with the rendering having been removed. The building has an eaves cornice and a double gabled pantile roof over the front section, with raised stone verges, flat kneelers, and chimneys to the gable ends, along with a later chimney to the right of centre. The facade is five bays arranged in a 1:2:2 layout. A one-story extension from the 19th century is to the left, featuring a canted bay. The entrance is also from the 19th century, with a glazed porch supported by Roman Doric style columns and pilasters and a modillion cornice, leading to a panelled door. The windows are sash windows with stucco surrounds to the heads and sills. To the rear, there are sash windows set in flush cases with glazing bars.
