Description
This is a house located at 98 Front Street in Sowerby, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of brown brick and features dentilled eaves and string courses at the floor levels. The steep slate roof has raised stone verges and large kneelers, with chimneys positioned at both ends and to the right of the center. The building has three storeys and three bays, with the entrance situated to the right of the center. The entrance features a wooden doorcase with a moulded architrave and a cornice supported by console brackets. The reveals are panelled, and the second floor has horizontal sliding sashes, while the first and ground floors have later glazing in flush cases.
