Description
The Beeches is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brown brick and features a timber eaves cornice and a slate roof. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical elevation with three bays. The centre bay slightly projects forward under a low pediment. The entrance door consists of six raised and fielded panels and is topped by a fanlight with radial glazing, set within panelled reveals and soffit. This door is framed by a pilastered door-case beneath an open pediment. To the right and left of the door are 16-pane sash windows with sills, each set under wedge lintels. There is a first-floor band and three similar sash windows on the first floor. The building also features moulded eaves and raking cornices, and there is a blocked oval window in the pediment. It has end stacks and a hipped roof.
