Description
This is a house located at 68 Front Street in Sowerby, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of pinkish-brown brick with a stone plinth and features three stone steps leading to the entrance. The building has a wooden modillion eaves cornice and a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and has two bays. There is a narrow round-arched passageway on the left side, with the entrance positioned to the left. The entrance consists of a panelled door topped by a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars, and the reveals are panelled. The wooden doorcase is supported by columns. The shallow segmental arched sash windows have glazing bars, channelled stucco heads, and plain cills.
