Description

This is a house located on Priory Terrace, Royal Leamington Spa, dating from 1828-1836, with later 19th-century additions and alterations. The house is constructed of pinkish-brown brick with a painted stucco facade, and has a concealed roof. It is two storeys tall with attics, and has three windows on the first floor. It features a plinth, pilaster strips to the ends, and a central projection extending the full height of the building. The facade is detailed with a plain frieze, cornice, and a low parapet raised to the ends to conceal the attics, and has corniced end stacks.

The first floor windows are 1/1 sashes with margin lights, with a blind opening in the centre, and a 6/6 sash, all set in plain reveals with sills. Four roll-edged steps lead to a central entrance, which has a part-glazed door with a surrounding overlight, panelled reveals, and a Tuscan pilastered surround topped with an entablature. Canted bay windows have three 1/1 sashes with pilasters between, and a frieze and cornice. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
