Description
Templeland is an 18th-century, two-storey, three-bay house located at 9 Main Street in Aberdour, with later alterations. The house has a rectangular plan and features rendered stone with painted margins around the openings.
On the southeast (principal) elevation, there is a door positioned off-centre to the right, with three windows to the left and one window at the far right. The first floor has three evenly arranged windows close to the eaves. The remains of an adjacent house can be seen to the far left.
The southwest elevation is attached to 7 Main Street, while the northeast elevation is connected to 11 Main Street.
The house has a modern door and replacement four-pane timber sash and case windows. It has a pitched roof covered with grey slates, a crowstepped gable on the southwest side, gable apex stacks, clay cans, and thackstane.
