Description
West View Farmhouse is a house built in the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone and has a stone slate roof, featuring quoins at the corners. The central entrance has a 20th-century glazed door set within a chamfered stone surround. The windows on the ground and first floors are 20th-century small-paned frames, which are in original sawn-stone surrounds. There is a narrow blocked window in the center of the first floor. The building has shaped kneelers and coping, with end stacks. At the rear, there is a service wing, possibly an addition, which has 20th-century windows.
