Description

Holmgrange, also known as Holme Farm, is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of gritstone with a concrete slate roof. The house is two storeys high and has five windows on the first floor, with the central window being blind. Quoins are visible on the ground floor. The central entrance is a 20th-century glazed door set within a quoined surround and a five-part lintel. A projecting band runs along the first floor and eaves. The gables have shaped kneelers and coping, and there are end and central chimney stacks. At the rear, a blocked doorway is visible on the left side, with a keyed lintel. The house faces south-east, away from the street.
