Description

Gate Bridge over the River Laver is a bridge built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed squared gritstone and features a single span segmental arch. The arch is flanked by shallow pilasters that rise to shallow pointed coping. The roadside walls extend to the end pilasters, which are designed as end bollards with flat caps. There is a projecting band at road level.
