Description
Woodhouse Bridge over the River Laver is a bridge built in the mid to late 18th century, with repairs made in the 20th century. It is constructed from rubble and faced in ashlar. The bridge features three keyed round arches, with the central arch being taller than the others. Pointed cutwaters rise as pilasters to a flat-topped parapet. A projecting band follows the line of the humped road level and is pointed above the central arch. The north parapet has been restored using concrete blocks, while the south parapet has been repaired. The bridge carries a little-used trackway and spans the parish boundary with Lindrick with Studley Royal and Fountains.
