Description

The Cottage is a house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared gritstone with gritstone dressings and quoins. The roof is made of stone slate and features a stone-coped gable with moulded kneelers on the west side, along with stone gable end stacks, one of which is rendered. The building has two bays and is two storeys high. The central entrance consists of a flush doorcase with a 20th-century glazed door. On either side of the door are 2-light flush mullion windows, with two similar windows located above. All the windows are 20th-century small pane casements.
