Description

Kennels House and Kennels Cottage, formerly listed as Kennels Cottage, is a house likely built around 1795, as indicated by the date on The Dovecote. The building features a combination of ashlar and rubble stone with a slate hipped roof and stands two storeys tall. The ground floor is designed as a 5-bay arcade with an impost band. The outer bays are blind, while the central three create a loggia, which is vaulted in brick and provides protection for a doorway and two windows, all of which have fanlights. On the upper level, there are small square casements in the outer bays and a lunette window in the center, which is also repeated on the rear wing.
