Description
Skelda Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1697, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed from rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The front is now fitted with sash windows that have plain surrounds. A central porch includes an elliptical arched doorway with a panel above it, which displays the date and initials: W I M.
On the left side of the first floor, there is a blocked round-headed light. The gable end to the right has external offsets, and at the first floor level, there are two small segmental-headed lights with moulded reveals. In the attic, there are two windows, each a 2-light double chamfered stone mullion window, although one light of the right-hand window is blocked. The interior has not been inspected.
